Joining the MLN_Alumni Group is easy! To get started you will need to register for a FREE Yahoo! ID and password and link it to any email addresses you wish to use for Yahoo! Groups.
In simpler words you will have to create an e-mail account of yours at Yahoo. If you have one already, that will do. Just follow the three simple steps:
1. Open the home page of our alumni group through the web address (URL) given above, i.e.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MLN_Alumni/
2. Click on the Join This Group button on the top right corner of the home page.
3. If you are not signed in, you will be asked to enter your Yahoo! ID and password (as you do to receive your yahoo mail). If you do not have a Yahoo! ID and password, you can click on the link New to Yahoo!? Sign up now.
Set your membership preferences. When you join, you can choose a profile you'd like to display to the group; select the email address at which you'd like to receive group messages; choose how you receive group messages; and more.
If someone has sent you an email invitation to join the group, click on the link provided to join.
